Senate is the peak governing body of the University, having direct oversight of the University’s affairs and approving its strategic direction and vision for the future.

Senate is made up of official, appointed and elected student, staff and graduate members. Apart from attending Senate meetings, members also contribute to one or more of the Senate Committees, and are invited to all major University functions.
